God’s presence; it was wonderful, anointed, and the presence of the Lord was sweet. David says, “In fear of You I will worship toward Your holy temple” (Ps. 5:7). All true worship is anchored in a reverence for His presence, for God says, “You shall … reverence My sanctuary: I am the LORD” (Lev. 19:30).
